Prosthetics
Sooner or later technology will invade the human body and mesh into it. When that is achieved there will be no separation between the two. Machines will be so realistic that it would hurt a person to put their robotic finger over the flame and the eye would be able to see the directions to the restaurant using wireless signals. Every action would be perceived by a computer and responses would be generated. The wires would seep deep into the flesh and joined with sinews. Signals from the brain would travel over neurons and then wires to reach the metallic fingers.
Brain
Recalling memories is a guessing game where each piece of memory is a node in a graph. Try to think of something and a parent root is selected. From there all connected nodes or memories are selected, ranked and retrieved. The ones that are ranked the most relevant are returned as our thoughts. So, in this robot-man the brain is connected to the internet. Memories stored on magnetic disks and computation done in the CPU thereby eliminating the need for the brain itself. At this point privacy in computer science becomes important because memories need to be protected. A hacker could get access to another persons "brain" and implant ideas (inception). Think about the poor programmer tasked with protecting your memory....he would have to make sure that no xss, sql injection etc type attacks can succeed.
Interconnectivity
Soon, devices will become smart enough to interact with our full bodies. This is when the real fun will begin because everything we do will cause a reaction from something else. Integrated touch and motion gestures will turn the TV on and change the channels. Oh wait...we wouldnt need a 'TV'! The bluetooth lenses in our eyes will broadcast entertainment wirelessly from the cloud. Our coffee tables would detect that our coffee has become to cool and would heat them up automatically. The dew from a beer bottle will be auto-evaporated...or better yet, be used to cool another machine. If we shiver enough the heating systems in our houses would turn on automatically. We would be able to interact with all the home appliances from the office... Believe it or not, this level of automation and intelligence is inevitable.
